Benton County Fair Winners Receive CAFF Scholarships

CAFF awarded scholarships to our Beginning Farmer Classes in 2022 to several winners in the vegetable growing competition at the Benton County Fair. A new roster of twenty-one classes will begin in January of 2022. Classes are just $10 each and range from production methods to marketing, and farm business.

High Point Adult – Receives a scholarship to the U of A Center for Farms and Food Beginning Farm Classes 2022 valued at $210 and $200 from the Food Conservancy NWA- Melissa Bond, Gentry

Runner-up High Point Adult – Receives a scholarship to the U of A Center for Farms and Food Beginning Farm Classes 2022 valued at $110 and $100 from the Food Conservancy NWA- Jeanie Bowen, Rogers

High Point Youth – Receives a scholarship to the U of A Center for Farms and Food Beginning Farm Classes 2022 valued at $210 and $200 from the Food Conservancy NWA- Lanie Newsom, Gentry

Runner-up High Point Youth – Receives a scholarship to the U of A Center for Farms and Food Beginning Farm Classes 2022 valued at $110 and $100 from the Food Conservancy NWA- Sydney Stout, Fayetteville
