November 12 – Beers with Farmers

Meet up with CAFF and local farmers at one of the many fine breweries in NWA. We’ll have some brews, swap a few tall tales, and get all social and stuff!

November 16 – Organic Farm Tour

Join us for an afternoon at Dripping Springs Garden in Huntsville for a guided tour with farmer Mark Cain. We’ll explore organic vegetable and cut flower production methods and discuss the ins and outs of USDA Organic Certification. Learn more about the TOPP Organic Farmer Mentorship Program

November 18 & 19 – Short Courses – Efficient Irrigation & Water Management for Specialty Crops

Topics: Design and build an automated irrigation system; determine when to turn on the irrigation system and how much water to apply; learn how to efficiently use water from rivers, creeks, ponds, rainwater catchment tanks, wells, and rural water supplies.

Price $30, includes lunch

December 6, 9, & 16 – Short Courses – Greasy Santa Farm Equipment Maintenance Short Course

Join us to hone your skills in small tractor maintenance and repair, Tuesdays in December at CAFF. Three courses to choose from. Join us for any or all of the days and learn how to service, repair, and improve your equipment! $10 per class or $25 for all three.
