TOPPS –The Arkansas Organic Agriculture project is part of the USDA-funded Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) of the Midwest region. TOPP is a collaborative effort involving many partners working together towards a common goal.
NCAT/ATTRA Resources on Organic Farming– This resource offer guidance in preparing for certification, and in production methods for a range of organic crops and livestock.
List of Certifiers Working in AR- There are currently 13 certification agencies working in Arkansas, based on the USDA-AMS Organic Integrity data base. This database is a useful research tool when looking for a certifier for your farm because it can be used to identify certified organic operations, crops certified, and the number of operations these organizations are certifying in Arkansas.

Organic Transition Initiative – This USDA Initiative is a multi-agency effort to support the transition to organic production and build and strengthen organic markets. USDA’s Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS), Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), and Risk Management Agency (RMA) all have significant roles in this work.
