The CFFSE is now the Center for Arkansas Farms and Food, also known as CAFF! The Center for Farm and Food System Entrepreneurship has changed its name to better emphasize the local and statewide impacts of the program. The goals of the center remain unchanged, to facilitate farms, farmers and farming in Arkansas. The guiding vision of the center is for a robust, vibrant food shed and local food economies throughout the state. This includes supporting a thriving local food system that supports agricultural entrepreneurs providing a diversity of products for a variety of markets. CAFF programs emphasize sustainability and biodiversity as well as effective business skills. The education and information provided by CAFF can influence the next generation of Arkansas farmers, greatly affecting the future of regional food systems and beyond, which impacts all Arkansans.
